Kevin Waterson is the Business Manager for SAREP. In this role he leads the SAREP financial team and is the department-level authority for contracts and grants accounting, staffing, budgeting, and UC and UC ANR policies. This also involves working collaboratively with many county office business partners and advisors.

Prior to joining SAREP, Kevin has 19 years of experience on the UC Davis campus, the last 14 of which were in the department of Plant Sciences as a Budget and Program Analyst/Research Administrator providing financial management for a diverse portfolio of faculty and directors. Originally from the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles, he got his BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara majoring in Law and Society with a minor in Philosophy, and his JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City specializing in Intellectual Property. He has also worked for American Express as a broker, The Princeton Review as an LSAT instructor, and held a variety of positions for local non-profit organizations.
