Join us in celebrating the inaugural Terra Madre Americas in Sacramento. Together with partners from across California, we’ll uplift the farmers, food producers, and traditions that make our state unique, and connect with a global community of good food champions.
UC ANR’s F3 Local, UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP), UC Master Food Preservers, 4-H youth, and Southwest Regional Food Business Center partners will be participating in “A Taste of California” Pavilion along with Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology, and the UC Global Climate Leadership Council. Our ‘Taste of California’ pavilion will showcase the diverse flavors, producers, and practices shaping a resilient food system. From cooking demos to farm tours, panels, and tastings, we invite you to connect, learn, and share. International food and drink tastings, live music, celebrity chef demonstrations, educational panels, artisan vendors, and more.
Visitors can enjoy:
- Free samples from local producers
- Farmers + vendors selling their goods
- Cooking demos + kitchen chats
- A prize wheel full of goodies
- A photo booth to capture the fun!
Admission to the flavorful festival is free and co-sponsored by UC Agriculture and Natural Resources.
