Overview of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)

Wed, Jan 14, 12:00-1:30pm
FSMA is a law regulated by the FDA that’s designed to prevent food safety issues. It applies to farms that grow fresh produce and facilities that handle, process, pack, or hold human food. In this training, you’ll receive a general overview of FSMA and what it means for your food hub or aggregation operation.

Vendor Onboarding

Tue, Feb 17, 12:00-1:30pm
To ensure compliance across their supply chain, food hubs should have a system in place for collecting documentation from their growers/producers (vendors). In this training, you’ll receive guidance on what information to collect from vendors, how often it should be updated, and sample onboarding documents.

Organic Compliance & Certification for Food Hubs

Tue, Mar 3, 12:00-1:30pm
If your food hub or aggregation business handles and/or sells certified organic foods, this training is for you! Participants will learn how organic regulations apply to food hubs and aggregators and what steps to take if you’re required to obtain organic certification.
