The 5th California Climate & Agriculture Summit begins with a conference at UC Davis on Feb. 28th. Keynote speakers include Karen Ross (Secretary of CDFA) and Glenda Humiston (VP of UC Division of Agriculture & Natural Resources). On March 1st, we will tour three innovative Yolo County farms using integrated farming practices to improve soil health, increase biodiversity and provide climate benefits. Full program available here.  The event is hosted by the California Climate and Agriculture Network.  Event participants will:

•  Learn about the latest science, policy and practice of climate-friendly farming in California.

•  Network with a diverse group including growers, researchers, policymakers, agricultural professionals and advocates.

•  Find out about farming-focused ways to play a constructive role in responding to our climate crisis.

Earlybird prices are available through January 6th, 2017. Past Summits have sold out well in advance, so don’t wait too long to buy your tickets. Student rates and farmer/rancher rates are available.
