Sustainable Agriculture Extension
The Student Farm has worked with a wide range of partners to help develop and establish more sustainable agriculture systems and practices in California and beyond. All of these projects have involved on-farm demonstrations and/or trials with collaborating farmers and significant farmer-to-farmer sharing of information and ideas. Specific projects have focused on cover cropping, the production and use of composts, and programs promoting biologically integrated systems in tree and vine crops.
