Understanding the long-term sustainability of current agricultural practices is of key interest in agricultural research, but funding and planning long-term research is rich with challenges.  to inform Western SARE's renewed interest in long-term projects, they are bringing together research and extension educators to understand the current science and mechanics of operating long-term projects.  This workshop highlights significant findings and benefits of long-term projects as well as pitfalls to avoid and keys to success.
