The California Nitrogen Assessment is just past its midway point. The project, which examines the state of knowledge, practice, and policy relating to nitrogen in California, began in June 2010.

As the assessment nears completion, we will be seeking stakeholder comments on draft documents in early 2011. To learn more about what the assessment has been working on, see a timeline of future activities, and learn how to get involved, download our 8-page midterm update, available as a pdf.
