Farm to College night
Thank you for joining us at the spring 2012 Farm to College night, a biannual event hosted by UC Davis Dining Services focused on food and farming sustainability.
This season the Agricultural Sustainability Institute (ASI) at UC Davis hosted a photo booth with the help of the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems major, the Student Farm and Russell Ranch.

Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems major
Both in class and through personal experiences, students in this major learn about food and agricultural issues facing the world today.
Established by students in 1977, the Student Farm focuses on sustainable agriculture principals and practices, emphasizes learning though personal experience, and encourages student initiative, creativity and exploration.
Russell Ranch Sustainable Agriculture Facility is a 300-acre experiment like no other in the world.
Farm to College night is a biannual event that highlights the sustainability of the food served by UC Davis Dining Services. The event includes several activities and a locally and sustainably produced meal.
